About Us

Annie's Nannies is an insured nanny placement agency and baby-sitting service, licensed to do business in Kansas and Missouri. We want to provide quality childcare to area residents at a reasonable cost. We also want to enrich your children's lives with people who enjoy working with children and who truly love children.

Annie's Nannies was founded by Ann Butenas, a local entrepreneur. Being a mom to three young boys and holding a Master's degree in Business, Ann knows what it takes to bring quality child care to your home. She was also a nanny at one time, so she has a deep appreciation for the work these people provide for you and your children.

The Nannies

Our nannies are special people. They come to work for Annie's Nannies because they love children! When we fully screen our nannies, we look for the following:

1. We make sure they are at least 19 years of age.
2. We ensure that they have at least two years of child care, childhood education, or a nursing background.
3. We perform an extensive background check on the nannies.
4. They are certified in CPR.
5. We entrust them with your children because we know they love children and enjoy being around children. Sure, they have all the qualifications one would desire, but the bottom line is, they really do enjoy children!

Rates

For the babysitting service, there is a one-time application fee of $45.00. The hourly rates of nannies will then apply when a nanny is assigned to your children.

Nannies are available on an hourly, daily, or weekly basis. The rates are as follows:

• $10.00 per hour for one to two children
• $12.00 per hour for three to four children
• $15.00 per hour for five to six children
• The rates for groups of more than six children are negotiable.
• There is a three-hour minimum.

For the permanent placement of a nanny, there is a fee of $900.00. The nanny's hourly or weekly rate is negotiable from that point. Nannies usually make between $400.00 and $600.00 per week.
